Before the Astros take on the Twins, they must first set their roster and GM Dana Brown faces some interesting questions on the last few spots. Matt Kawahara breaks it down.
One thing we do know, Justin Verlander and Framber Valdez will start the first two games at home.

And in College Station, Texas A&M is hosting Alabama and Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban is worried about facing the Aggies' defensive front.

In high school football, North Shore took care of Summer Creek to keep its district winning streak alive. Bridgeland, Willis and Katy were among Thursday's other winners.
And in jurisprudence, Mike Spiller a gymnastics coach with ties to Houston was sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty to child sexual abuse charges. Danielle Lerner first reported on Spiller's history last fall.
