| 2 dead, 3 hospitalized after car crashes into slough in Solano County – Two people are dead and three others were injured after a car crashed into the Sutter Slough in Solano County Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials say five people were in the car and two adults were confirmed dead at the scene on Holland and Oxford roads near Courtland. The other passengers were an infant who was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, a toddler and an adult who were taken to the hospital as well. Woman stabbed to death, man hospitalized in El Dorado County – A woman was stabbed to death and a man was hospitalized in El Dorado County Thursday evening, according to officials. The stabbing happened on Prado Vista Road in Placerville around 6:30 p.m., according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office. The woman was found dead inside a home and a man was found with "traumatic wounds" at a neighbors house. He was taken to the hospital but his condition is unknown at this time.
