8 restaurants, bars in The Woodlands with the best outdoor dining options.

It's finally possible to sit outside for a meal, and The Woodlands is patio-central for outdoor dining experiences.

Warmly-lit patios line The Waterway's main thoroughfare, with options ranging from Churrasco's Steakhouse to the quiet corner where Landry's Seafood House sits. North Italia, which opened at The Woodlands Mall in 2022, has a patio that wraps around the entire building, while Hughes Landing's Restaurant Row has some of the best Lake Woodlands views to dine beside. Rose Rooftop and Back Table Kitchen and Bar offer rooftop and golf course views, respectively.
