Sheriff: Deputy shot in north Harris county, rushed to hospital

A sheriff's deputy was flown to a hospital after being shot in north Harris County Wednesday night, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said. The shooting happened in the 13500 block of Homestead, Gonzalez said in a tweet at 7:55 p.m. The deputy wasn't named, and Gonzalez didn't give a description of his condition.
