Even Houston's most popular restaurants would be hard-pressed to keep up with the demand that schools' food service teams meet every day.
We're asking readers to help highlight local school cafeterias by sharing which Houston area schools they think serves the best lunch. Help us shout out quality cafeteria food by taking this reader poll.
Katy ISD starts classes Wednesday. Ahead of students' return to campuses, families can find information about school meals on the nutrition and food services department's website. The site details how to apply for free or reduced price meals, set up a SchoolCafe account, and what to do if your child needs dietary accommodations.
