Boost your child's literacy with Harris County library's partnered reading program in Cy-Fair.

As school gets started around Cy-Fair, this Harris County Public Library reading program is searching for volunteers for its growing program. 

The Lone Star College-CyFair Library's free 10-week literacy program Book Buddies is seeing a rise in children sign-ups. This program offers free partnered reading for children in kindergarten through 3rd grade. With 60 volunteers to fill its fall program, the library is now looking for more volunteers for the winter.

The Harris County Public Library system not only offers Book Buddies for children, but also a variety of other services such as its Early Literacy program, programs for parents and homework help.
