We asked where we could find the best happy hour specials in Katy. Here are your answers.

As someone in her final lap of her 30s, I'm a big fan of happy hour. Not only can I get great food and drink prices, I can have quality time with my friends and still be asleep in my bed by 9 p.m.

But since I don't have unlimited time or funds to hit every happy hour, I decided to ask Katy Insiders where I could get the best specials in the city. The survey was a hit, and I had so many votes that I decided to make a list of your top five suggestions.

Sonoma Wine and Cheese snagged the coveted top spot, with Union Kitchen, Dish Society, Brett's BBQ and Bar Louie also ranking among the best happy hour restaurants in Katy.

You guys never fail to entertain me with your responses to my queries. Shout out to the Katy Insider with this gem of a reply to my request for the best happy hour in Katy:

"Can I just say that just about anywhere can be the 'best' happy hour as long as you have time to drink a couple discounted drinks with your girls, preferably those who aren't gonna steal your man or leave you behind, or where you are not bombarded by sweaty, creepy guys. Drink smart ladies!"

This was not helpful for survey purposes, but your observation is astute.
