DOJ says they will sue Texas over buoy wall barrier in Rio Grande

The Department of Justice is ready to sue Gov. Greg Abbott over the floating buoy barrier he deployed in the Rio Grande to block migrants from crossing the river from Mexico.

Texas' maternal mortality rates have more than doubled since 1999, report says

A new report by the JAMA shows that women are more likely to die during childbirth or soon after in the south, especially Texas where the maternal mortality rates have doubled.
