Here's your chance to comment on CCISD's three bond options, and how it'll affect your tax bill.

Remember those creaky gym floors in high school and middle school?

Or the musty odor of an aging building?

Noises and odors are not on Clear Creek ISD's list of things to eliminate as it plans its next bond, but the district is hoping to address issues related to older campuses and outdated equipment. Here's what to know about the bond and tax rate election on the November ballot.

The district is hosting a series of meetings to get citizen feedback on how to shape its next bond and is also asking for public support of a possible tax increase to help pay capital needs.

School funding, whether its via the state or voter approval of projects and bonds, is complicated, and these meetings are designed to break it all down in a way that that we can understand why it matters that an old elementary school building are is considered for a makeover, and how or if it will use our dollars.

Or at the very least they give us the opportunity to say yes or no.

The meetings are going to be held through Aug. 3 at various CCISD campuses. Go here for a complete schedule.
