Beyonce to Madonna: The 35 hottest concerts coming to Houston this summer The summer music season has arrived and here are the 35 hottest concerts coming to the Houston area. This weekend is Mother's Day and if you are looking for something to do, we've got you and mom covered. For those families who want to do something outdoors, here are three suggestions, including the Art Bike Festival. Hungry? Restaurant critic Alison Cook tries out the hoagie at Primo Hoagies on Washington Ave. Acclaimed Houston musician Kendrick Scott is coming home to debut an ambitious multi-media project titled "Unearthed," making its premiere May 12, about the Sugar Land 95. Speaking of Texas musicians, Robert Earl Keen survived a disastrous farewell tour last year but here's what's coming next. Also: Two Katy sisters are making a splash as Hollywood producers with a new HBO film; Five Funny French Film series returns to the MFAH; Fishbone's Angelo Moore brings his latest side project to town; replicas of the famous Twin Sisters cannons soon will be booming at San Jacinto Battleground.
