1950s sports cars show off in a vintage 16mm film.

Have you heard of gymkhana car racing?

For those who don't keep up with the world of motorsports, gymkhana is a form of car racing where drivers must navigate a course, often designed with obstacles, within a certain amount of time.

The Houston Chronicle's J.R. Gonzales found a 16mm film of a 1958 gymkhana at Palms Center on Houston's south side. The film was digitized earlier this year by the Texas Archive of the Moving Image.
