| I have to give our food writers credit. They know their stuff. Unlike folks like me, who eat something and think, "This is yummy," our food reporters approach cuisine as an artform. So when they come up with a list of the most exciting Houston restaurants set to open in 2023, I pay attention. I was not at all surprised to see that three of Houston's most anticipated restaurants are coming to Katy. It's becoming more and more obvious to me that our not-so-little suburb is becoming a major dining destination. Money Cat, an offshoot of Katy sushi hotspot Tobiuo, will be opening any day now. Local Table, already a fan favorite with two other Katy-area locations, will be opening its new flagship location near LaCenterra. Internationally renowned Nando's Peri Peri, too, opens this spring near LaCenterra. What new eateries are you most excited about? Let me know your thoughts at claire.goodman@chron.com. |
