As Texas' electric grid prepares to face its biggest cold-weather test since the deadly February 2021 winter storm, ERCOT, the state's nonprofit grid operator, has advised generators to prepare for an unusually cold blast this week.
The U.S. Postal Service will purchase 66,000 thousand electric vehicles over the next five years, putting one of the nation's largest civilian vehicle fleets on the path to eliminating the use of petroleum powered vehicles.
