On the bright side, the Rockets could be closer to getting Jae'Sean Tate back. The Texans could be getting receiver Brandin Cooks back against the Chiefs on Sunday. In his absence, Chris Moore has stepped up and had Houston's only 100-yard receiving game of the season last week against Dallas. The college bowl season kicks off today. UTSA gets it going against Troy State in the Cure Bowl. Also on Friday, Incarnate Word is in the FCS playoffs against North Dakota State. And it's just two days until Rice plays Southern Miss in the LendingTree Bowl. The Owls are confident in freshman quarterback A.J. Padgett. In high school football, three more state champions were crowned on Thursday as we count down to the North Shore vs. Duncanville game on Saturday. North Shore will face a tall task against the Duncanville running back Caden Durham. Stat of the day: $522 million. The money the Yankees spent in offseason on two players: Aaron Judge and Carlos Rodón. |
