The past few years have been rough for one particular Santa Claus (aka Deryl McKenzie) in Kingwood.

First came the heart transplant in 2018. Then the three broken hips. Then, in 2021, his wife died following a fall. Needless to say, Santa has been on the sidelines these last few years.

This year, though, things are going to be different. Santa is back, folks, and Evan MacDonald has the details.

As I braved the annoying drizzle and chilly temperatures while filling up the car Monday morning, I looked out at the traffic and my mind went back to 95-degree summers and how pleasant that feels right about now. Anyway, expect intermittent clouds today and highs in the upper 50s. Don't forget to prepare for the upcoming freeze.
