Meta detects four hundred apps that are stealing log in info of users

As explained by Meta; 'These apps were listed on the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store and disguised as photo editors, games, VPN services, business apps and other utilities to trick people into downloading them.When a person installs the malicious app, it may ask them to "Login With Facebook" before they are able to use its promised features.' If you believe that you've downloaded one of these apps, Meta advises users to delete the app immediately, reset their Facebook password and enable 2-factor authentication.

Twitter is working on making shopping a thing in the app

A product card will be attached to a tweet referring users to either visit the website, or the Shop on Twitter. Plus, new prompt will pop up when you try to screenshot a tweet, asking you to either share it in the app or to share a link to the tweet instead.

Instagram has expanded access to a new option which enables some creators to add multiple links to their IG bio, as a means to help expand their business-building potential in the app.
