  Vigil to be held for victims of suspected Stockton serial killer – A vigil will be held Wednesday night in Stockton for the victims of a potential serial killer. Six people died in this case with five of the victims from Stockton. The community will be able to gather at 5 p.m. on the north steps of Stockton’s City Hall. Deadly multi-car crash in Rocklin near Whitney High School – The crash happened at Whitney Ranch Parkway and University Avenue around 8:45 a.m. One person died at the scene and three other people were taken to the hospital, according to Rocklin police. At least three cars were involved in the crash, police said. It is unclear how the crash happened. Kristin Smart Update: Paul Flores convicted of killing Cal Poly student in 1996 – More than 26 years since college student and Stockton native, Kristin Smart disappeared, the long-time suspect in the case has been found guilty of killing her. A jury found Paul Flores guilty Tuesday of first-degree murder. Paul Flores faces a sentence of 25 years to life.
