Person stabbed near Sacramento State student housing, police say – Sacramento police are investigating after a person was stabbed near Sacramento State student housing Academy 65. Upon arrival, officers found a person with non-life-threatening injuries consistent with being stabbed. The person was taken to a local hospital.

1 adult, 2 minors arrested after allegedly robbing Vacaville 7-Eleven – The store was robbed just after 6 p.m. and one of the teenagers allegedly shot a gun multiple times during the robbery, according to the Vacaville Police Department. Upon arrival, officers began their investigation by looking through surveillance and interviewing witnesses.

Sacramento DA’s office warns parents after finding rainbow fentanyl pills – The Sacramento County District Attorney's Office is warning parents and young adults to remain vigilant as dealers take a new approach to appeal to younger people with rainbow-colored fentanyl pills. With Halloween right around the corner, the district attorney's office is also urging parents to carefully examine their kid's candy after trick-or-treating.
