View in browser   Top Story Why it took 15 years to fix a dangerous Houston intersection If the new intersection at Rice and Sunset boulevards slows you down, work redesigning the flow of traffic that wrapped up this week will have been a job well-done.  Previously, drivers traveling west on Sunset Boulevard from Main Street met a fork in the road to either continue into a small neighborhood on Sunset Boulevard or travel further down the thoroughfare, which turns into Rice Boulevard nearby. The design of the fork allowed drivers to continue straight into the residential area, with little impetus to slow down — not even so much as a speed bump.
