As Tropical Storm Nicholas makes its way out of the Houston area on Tuesday, CenterPoint says there are approximately 440,000 customers in the Houston area without power as of 7:30 a.m.
CenterPoint, which provides power to more than 1.4 millon across the region, reported outages from as far east as Mont Belvieu to as far west as Sealy.
