Pfizer COVID vaccine full approval: Everything you need to know –The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 16 years of age and older. The formula made by Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech now carries the strongest endorsement from the agency, which has never before had so much evidence to judge a shot’s safety. Full approval means Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine meets the same “very high standards required of all the approved vaccines we rely on every day,” said Dr. Jesse Goodman of Georgetown University, a former FDA vaccine chief. He knows firsthand why many Afghans choose Sacramento. “In resettlement, people go where their community is. And as many people know, one out of every nine Afghans in the United States come to the general Sacramento area,” Ham explained. Arizona woman survives several days missing in the White Mountains – A young mother by the name of Destiny Quintero survived several days in the wilderness on her own. She was miraculously found in a rescue search nearly six days after she went missing. Quintero said she went on a joy ride with friends late last week. But when storms came down, the truck got stuck, and they split up. Quintero has some scrapes and bruises, but that is small compared to the joy of being reunited with her 2-year-old son.
