Houston is no stranger to natural disasters – and natural disaster relief.

After Hurricane Ida slammed into Louisiana over the weekend, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake, several Houston-area organizations are heeding the call to help our neighbors to the east.

Several relief efforts are already underway, and a majority are currently working on rescuing those stranded in their homes. Some are asking for volunteers, while others need donations to stay.
