No survivors after private jet crashes while attempting to land at Truckee-Tahoe Airport – A private jet crashed near the Ponderosa Golf Course in Truckee on Monday as it attempted to land at the Truckee-Tahoe Airport. There were no survivors. Authorities say four people died in the twin-engine jet crash. According to investigators, nine or 10 fire engines were at the crash in the first 10 minutes.
