Some travel stories for while you are home

ConvenienceBigs,

How are you doing? These are strange and difficult times right now. Most of us are isolated inside, worried about our jobs, our health, and our communities. This virus is wreaking havoc on the world. I believe we will make it through this and we'll be stronger for it. Times like this always reveal character and, as an optimist, I believe people are fundamentally good and that, when this is all over, we'll appreciate our family, friends, health, community, and our world a little more.

I mentioned last week I had the Coronavirus. The outpouring of support was unexpected but really made me happy when I was feeling low. (So thank you!) Today (day 13) is my first day without a cough so I think I have recovered and look forward to the day I can leave my house and go for a walk in the woods near where I live. I plan to social distance in nature.

While we can't travel with our bodies right now, we can still travel with our minds. We can still plan trips for the future and fill our days with wanderlust to pass the time. So, while we are locked inside, I wanted to share some of my favorite stories from the past to keep you entertained:

Additionally, we launched a Patreon last week. If you want to get more out of your experience here, we've created a brand-new program where you can get exclusive content, attend live chats and Q&A sessions, get free books, and a lot more cool bonuses each month. While you can continue to use this site for free, we wanted a way to make the website more community-supported, especially as many have asked how they could help right now since the industry has come to a halt.

You can learn more about this new program in this blog post.

Moreover, here some other easy ways to help:

As always, if you have any questions or need advice, tips, or guidance, send me an e-mail.

Stay well, healthy, and inside!

Sincerely,
Nomadic Matt
