A body was found in Greens Bayou on Saturday night near Interstate 10 in east Houston, according to preliminary information from the Houston Police Department.
A fisher called to report the body at around 6:20 p.m. near the 13300 block of the East Freeway near the Uvalde Road exit, police said. The caller said the body appeared to be that of a naked man. Northeast patrol division officers and a dive team responded and found the body, police said. The scene was near the Market at Uvalde — a commercial lot with a Sam's Club, Home Depot, Cavender's Boot City and more.
The individual's identity and cause of death were not immediately available.
