Hey there, the Terms of Service were changed on X πŸ”

Two significant updates from Twitter

The platform has revised its Terms of Service agreement to include more specific language about how it can use members' content for AI training purposes. The growth of online shopping tools and AI

TikTok has partnered with the British Beauty Council, with major brands like L'OrΓ©al Paris already launching exclusive products through TikTok Shop live events. Meta is collaborating with Hollywood filmmakers to develop Movie Gen, an AI tool that creates HD video clips up to 16 sec based on text prompts. Despite strong financial performance with a 16% revenue increase to $134 billion in 2023, the company announced another round of layoffs affecting 100 positions, following last year's significant workforce reduction of 20k roles. On another hand, Meta introduced new measures to combat sextortion scams, which is the fastest-growing cybercrime affecting FB and IG users.

Updates on Youtube

Youtube changed how Shorts are categorized, clarifying that vertical videos under 3 minutes will automatically be classified as Shorts. As a major move to combat deepfakes, all videos captured with C2PA-supported tools will now display a "captured with a camera" tag in their expanded description, confirming the footage hasn't been edited visually or aurally.
