A new bridge to downtown Houston will open soon
The much-anticipated Elysian Street viaduct connecting Near Northside to downtown Houston will open soon.
The overpass has been closed for years. Authorities tried to start construction in 2014, but it didn't start until years later in 2017 when the old bridge was finally demolished.
