  Unvaccinated child from Stanislaus County contracts measles after traveling out of the country – An unvaccinated child from Stanislaus County who recently traveled out of the U.S. contracted measles, the county health services announced Thursday. Stanislaus County Public Health said in a press release, the child recently traveled out of the country. At this time, anyone who may have been exposed happened in a healthcare setting. According to the CDC, measles is a virus that lives in the nose and throat mucus of someone who has been infected. New Costco opens in Natomas – A new Costco location in Natomas opened Thursday. It's located at the corner of East Commerce and Arena Boulevard in Sacramento. The Natomas Costco includes a Tire Service Center, Pharmacy, Optical Department and more. There is no gas station offered at this location, according to Costco's website. Sacramento County approves guaranteed income program – In a few months, Sacramento County will launch its guaranteed income program. The pilot program looks to assist about 200 low-income families in the county. The Sacramento County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Family First Sacramento pilot program on Tuesday.
