When driving around Harris County you may have noticed a new brightly colored bus.
A décor contest that is open to Cy-Fair ISD and other Houston area students announced its first winner from Bridgeland High School.
Emma Cardenas' bus design features birds, bright colors, and different color hands that she says represent the community with love. After high school Cardenas said that she wants to get into working in the creative industry.
Kids across Harris County such as Alief ISD, Cypress Fairbanks ISD, Houston ISD, Katy ISD, Spring Branch ISD, Waller ISD, and Tomball ISD are able to showcase their art by submitting a bus design with artwork that reflects the community. The contest is still ongoing.
